Born in Mexico City in 1993, I was enraptured by the beauty of nature. Immediately, my inspiration focused on animals. As I learned who I was as an artist, my work evolved to include my personal passions and intricacies.
In 2017, I moved to New York City where I currently reside. This greatly impacted my work. I was inspired by the movement of this city: the social interactions, the consumerism, the inherent political energy.
At the beginning, I focused on precise detail in order to stimulate the naked eye. As time went by, I started to experiment with color and shape, incorporating unique materials into pieces progressing beyond an obsession with fine detail. I allowed my work to express itself as it is: immediate, changing, spontaneous.
The great love and passion I have for my work has led me to exhibit in Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, and Japan. I have been honored to collaborate with incredible artists such as Til Linderman and have been a part of an international tribute to H.R. Giger.
Each of my pieces is different from the next, but they all have the same goal: to stop the viewer and ask them to reflect on a world that moves faster than the blink of an eye.
